Viva Wontons

Elvis Presley’s favorite sandwich was a peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich. My friend Jeff loves Elvis. And he was going to be over for dinner. I thought he would love these since they combine Elvis and pb, his favorite food.
Using this as my inspiration, I created ‘Viva Wontons.’ using the banana, pb and bacon I filled some wonton wrappers and baked them. That’s it. They are so easy and really good. They can be used as an appetizer, dessert or breakfast.

20 wontons wrappers
1 banana, mashed
6 bacon sliced, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
olive oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees,

Mix the banana, bacon and pb in a bowl.

Fill each wonton with about 2 tsp of the mixture. Close the wonton on the diagonal, sealing it by rubbing the edge with water. brush with olive oil and bake for about 15 minutes. Until the edges are crispy.
Serve immediately.

* you can drizzle it with caramel or chocolate sauce to make it more of a dessert.
