Red Wine Sangria

Posted on July 6, 2009. Filed under: Beverages |

I love serving sangria for a girls get together or on a warm summer night. You can use almost any type of wine, flavored syrup, juice or fruit. This is just a variation I enjoy. It is very similar to sangria that you might find in a restaurant. Super sweet and delicious!

Ingredients:
1 bottle Red Table Wine
1 cup Strawberry flavored syrup
2 cups Cranberry Juice Cocktail
1 1/4 cups brandy
Strawberries cut into thirds
Oranges, sliced and quartered
Crushed ice

Directions:
This makes one gallon. Mix all ingredients except for ice.
Refridgerate for 4 to 5 hours.
Pour wine in glass and then add ice.
Make sure there is fruit in every glass.
