Easy Chocolate Mousse

Posted on April 8, 2009. Filed under: Chocolate, Desserts |

Making real, legit mousse is not extremely difficult. But when I am making so many other dishes for Easter, I need a few of them to be fairly easy. Just so I am not bombarded with days worth of prep, with no relaxation during my time off of my real job. And recipe website like http://www.kraft.com, and http://www.pillsbury.com are great resources from quick, simple, easy recipes, just like this one.

Serves 6
1-1/2 cups cold fat-free milk, divided
2 squares BAKER’S Semi-Sweet Chocolate
1 pkg. (2.1 oz.) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding
2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided
1/2 cup crumbled Girl Scout Samoa cookies

In a double boiler on the stove, mix 1 cup milk and chocolate squares. Slowly stir until chocolate is melted. Remove from burner. Add remaining milk and dry pudding mix; beat 2 min. Refrigerate 30 min.

WHISK in 1-1/2 cups COOL WHIP; spoon into 6 dessert dishes.

TOP with remaining COOL WHIP and crumbled cookies.
