7 Layer Dip

Posted on February 9, 2009. Filed under: Appetizers |

Since I was a kid this has been my favorite appetizer. It’s so simple and easy. It can even be made a day or 2 ahead of time to help conserve time on the actual day of the party. Everyone always loves it.

1 can refried beans
2 c. shredded cheddar and jack cheese
1 c. salsa
1 small can sliced olives
1/2 c. chopped tomatoes
1/4 c. chopped green onion
8 ounces sour cream

Use a 9 inch glass pie dish to make this.

This is a layered dip. So start from the bottom up:
Refried beans
Salsa
Sliced Olives
Sour Cream
Cheese
Tomatoes
Green Onion

Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. This can sit out for a few hours and not go bad.
