Baked Brie

My mom makes amazing baked brie. It is my favorite appetizer. I love dipping apples slices in it! Your guests will have no idea what hit them when they try this. I promise they will all be happy and amazed at such a wonderful creation!

1 Wheel brie Cheese, rind on
1 sheet Pastry Crust, thawed
3/4 c. raspberry jam
1/4 c. dried cranberries
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
Sliced apples
Sliced fresh peaches
Sliced Fresh Pears
Water crackers

Preheat the oven to 350.

Put the jam, cranberries and walnuts on top of the brie. Then wrap the puff pastry around the brie, so the pastry ends come together on the opposite side of the toppings. Make sure the pastry completely encloses the brie. Place the brie on a greased baking sheet with the ‘ugly’ side down. The side where the ends of the puff pastry came together, place that down on the baking sheet. So the smooth side, with the topping under neath, is facing up.

Bake for 25-35 minutes. Until the pastry is golden brown and puffy.

Serve on a platter with sliced apples, peaches , pears and crackers.

It is the easiest and most praised appetizer.
